What Are You Waiting For?

Today i realized for the first time in a while that i am really not going to see most of the people that have influenced my life over the past 4 years. Friends that is... I have found that people are almost like our time here. They are just a glimpse in the big picture of time. That really puts a surreal image to life. In the next year i will be starting to complete what i am going to be doing with the rest of my life. And that really is a snap to the reality. What happened to the days of afternoon naps and your only responsibility was for your cabbage patch doll? The world moves just a little to fast and makes some of us stumble long the way only to find that we really need to get back up and carry on with what we are scheduled to do. No more ice cream truck stops or pretend driving. This is real now. The ice cream truck races by day after day not knowing who you were in the first place, and the real driving you do is the mundane drive to work or some other place that is necissary to go to on your daily list of things to do. No one knows that your insides are not really that grown up, but are really a supergirl in a cape trying to stay young, and being defeated by responsibility.
